Grocery store out of stock

Has this ever happened to you? I'll go in the store, see a product, decide to try it, start to like it, make it a regular part of my grocery list, and they'll either stop carrying it or it will always be out of stock. This happened recently with Rojo's 24 ounce salsa, but it's happened before with sandwiches, rolls, certain kinds of fruit, shampoo, and all kinds of other things. Or they'll stock the item, but they'll decide to always stock less than they need so I have to go in really early to get any. Comments and complaints fall on deaf ears. I can't be the only one with this problem!

Been there, seen that, bought the tee-shirt... well, I would've bought it if it had still been available in-store...

Exactly! Now what do I do about something that's supposed to be a basic stock item like hoagie rolls?

Inform the local newspaper or TV station about it. Something may happen then.

Happens to me all the time. If I love a new product you can pretty much guarantee that it will fail.

Very commonplace and it's always something you like while the stuff you don't care for are on shelves forever.

Yep, happens quite frequently. I can occasionally get things special ordered, but it's such a hassle... I'd rather try finding it on Amazon instead. I might not get it right away, but the free two-day shipping with Prime is a huge bonus.

Friday I went to a specific store to get a specific product that I can only find there and there was NONE. I was extremely frustrated.

I'm guessing management didn't care either?

It always happens to me. They get me hooked on a product and then whammo-bammo it's gone. They won't get any more. When I beg and plead they tell me the buyer does not think we need that so they are not getting it. I write the website for the store and they say call the store manager. I call the manager and he refers me to the website. Stores do not care about their customers.

I'm finding that stores just aren't stocking the way they used to. I finally gave up on having dried milk around for baking cause Safeway only sells it in stupid small boxes.

@Rohvannyn Especially in the winter when the roads are horrid it would be nice to have a gigantic box of dried milk on reserve.
