Daniel, my eldest grandson (aged 24) has done exactly what I wouldn´t have dared do with mine. But maybe, 2 generations ago, we just could not do it. He went backpacking a few years ago and met a Swiss girl in Mexico. They went together to Switzerland where, after some time, they got married. Their marriage is not a normal one and each one comes and goes as they please. Their common goal is to earn enough money to buy some land here and live out of the land doing a natural farming called permaculture. Of course I´ll stick to my 6 lettuce plants and my few potatoes. He earns his living there playing in 2 bands as saxophonist. I listen to him and keep my mouth shut.

I do want him to be able to fend for himself too.
