Since my husband was originally from South East Texas, I watch for news from that area all the time. They've certainly had their share of bad storms and floods, and it seems they are getting hit again.
His friends in that area have been posting all over Facebook about the flooding, and it's a very serious problem. I've been offering up prayers for people in that region and I ask those of you who pray to join with me.
Along with that, we have several areas of the world that have experienced extremely bad earthquakes, and I'm praying for them, as well. I've heard that there have been some people pulled out of the rubble alive, and I do hope that continues.

While we're having such beautiful weather in my area I have seen the rain pouring down in Texas with more to come & yes, the earthquakes in other parts of the world have been devastating. My prayers for all those who live in those areas

When I got in from work I noticed on facebook about the floods in Texas. I turned to the weather channel and they were talking about it nonstop. Our prayers are certainly with all those affected with them. We have friends who live there. We also have a friend stationed in Japan who witnessed his first major earthquake over the weekend. He and his friends are safe. Our prayers go out to Japan and Ecuador. We never know what a day holds in store for us. I can't imagine going through a natural disaster on that scale. Have a blessed evening.
