I have to go clothes shopping

I don't exactly have the money to spare for clothes, but most of mine have developed holes large enough one cannot wear them out in public. Yes I can sleep in them, but I need a pair of shorts I can work in the yard in, and a couple of shirts. I hate shopping when money could be used elsewhere. Still, it has to be done, so I am going to try Walmart today, and see if I can keep it all under maybe 30 or so. We shall see. I need lots of luck! I need to find bargains and things that fit, both items that I have trouble with!

wishing you luck and lots of bargains - As I was returning home from the supermarket this afternoon, a rainbow appeared in front of me right across the sky - with seeing that I wishes all my friends and family the best of luck today and for days ahead. I hope you got your share.

@Inlemay I had a great day today, and it didn't rain like they said it would and it was also warmer than they predicted, so I would say your wishes worked just fine. Thank you. My son even got more vines off the back of the house, without my asking him to. Now that's your wishes working extra hard for me.

Instead of Wal-Mart what about the thrift stores? I've found some really nice clothes there and you can get a lot for $30. At Wal-Mart that might be two items.

I managed 2 shorts, and three tops for 35 at walmart, so I was pretty content with that. My only issue with thrift is distance, they are all over 45 minutes away on the other side of a nearby town. I still might, for some extra stuff. as for needs, I only need a pair of new work tennies, and long shorts for work. I can get the latter at walmart if I have more time and patience to try stuff on. I may have to go to a shoe store for the shoes, my special heel inserts have to fit in them

@Jessicalynnt I hope those shoes don't cost a lot. I know they can if they are special like you need.

@just4him I am going to take the insoles in, and hope for the best. Sometimes I can find a pair that aren't too terrible.

If there's already a huge hole, it's about time to get yourself a new one.

I spent a little more than I wanted, but not tons. And I got most of what I needed. mainly a pair of shoes and one more pair of long work shorts. I think I can get the long shorts at walmart for under 10 if I go back later and try more on, just ran out of patience

It sounds like the thrift shops would be a better option to save money.

none in this town, closest one is 45 min away, I considered it, but I dont have tons of luck with that, or hadn't the last few times I made the trip. Garages sales might, but I always work sat so never make it to any

Do you ever try thrift shops? I can usually pick up 'work' (as in yardwork) clothes there.

not this run, but if I am in the next town over, which is 45 min give or take, I will stop by a couple and see.

I wish you luck. I don't like clothes shopping either, especially for things like jeans. It's very hard to find something I like, that fits and I can afford. Consignment shops are a good option for clothes shopping, if you have one in your area.

nothing close, 45 min drive to the other side of a nearby town. I did find 7 dollar shorts at walmart, so I grabbed 2 pairs.this covers me for pants almost, I need one more pair to wear to work, but I ran out of patience, as I hate trying things on, so decided I'd come back later.
