Why Do People Collect Things??

I was just thinking about some the collections that I have indulged in over my married years. Too many actually, but hopefully I'm not the only one. One of my favorites was magazines, followed by bells and then my angels.
I would have to say that magazines and my angels are my favorite collections and for completely different reasons. The magazines because of my love of family history and the angels which is a long story that I will tell you about in the future.
Any way, do you collect anything and if you do, what is your favorite collection?

I have never been a collector of anything, other than grandkids and great-grandkids.

I think that collections make a home :) Must look up what a Beswick horse looks like??? Have no idea

@Hate2Iron They are very realistic and in fine china. They are made in England although now I think they are made in Japan. I don't collect them any more.

I collect jobs (remote). Seriously, I don't collect things. Mys sister collects magazines. She has a room filled with magazines. She uses those magazines when cooking and baking. It's where she gets ideas for food to cook and bake for her shop.

I used to collect foreign music, any foreign language music was a must have, this was before computer so getting them was hard, when my brother for whatever reason disposed of all my music, i lost interest and have not collected anything since unless you count holiday souvenirs that I buy and give away
