Managed a few things

I swear, sometimes I measure life in the few things I manage to get done. When one is depressed, and one's hubby is depressed, it's hard to get anything done. Well I got a full load of trash outside last night as today is the day they pick up, so that's some more stuff out of the garage. I have already unloaded and reloaded the dish washer, and the laundry is mostly done. I have a small load to start, which I am about to go do, and will have that and another basket that finished up last night to put away. I need to call the garage door repair man, eventually, we have been just not parking in it, since the wires got messed up on one side and it wont open with the buttons anymore. I hate automatic garages, will never have that added to a home. Manual is the way to go, I am a big girl and I can open that up by hand. I also need to go to the DMV and get my license changed over. When I replaced my SS card I finally got my name change done, yeah we been married for awhile, I just was really lazy about getting name changes and such done. I went with hyphenated. Not sure why, it just felt right. But that won't happen today, maybe next week. Today I think my goals shall be that laundry, and to move some broken fence bits to the burn pile, and if hubby feels up to it, getting the old kitchen table out to the garage and the new one from my aunt inside.

It really is hard to do anything when you're depressed. Glad you were able to get as much done as you did.

@just4him yeah, good way to zone for a bit, but feels like hiding my head in the sand

right? add anxiety to that, and burying myself in tv or a book is much easier than doing things

@Jessicalynnt It does help to find something relaxing when depressed or anxious. I've often found TV and a book very helpful.

quite a lot of domestic chores - it can feel like a day in a busy factory at times - hope it all goes alright

Sounds like you have done quite a bit today already. I think once a person is in the mood to do things when they are accomplished it gives you a good feeling.

That's a great list of stuff to do. I think it is good to have a list and when you check it off you feel like you accomplished something. LOL

@Jessicalynnt As long as you are working on something from the list, you should be proud of yourself. You are accomplishing something. It takes me forever to do anything just because I despise house work. LOL I want to start working on my closet today. LOL

I know that it's hard to do house chores when you do not feel at your best I imagine you would prefer to read or watch a TV show instead that cleaning the house.
