Once again she contacted me because, she needs something. They ran out of toilet paper. Mind you I have lots and they been getting it from my supply. I did not say a word to her about coming here to get any. I will not be giving her any more of my toilet tissue, soap or anything. It was nice to see her and it was nice when she left.. Soon she will decide to stop contacting me altogether I am not wishing that but,it would feel better hen it feels now. I am tired of being used so I need to be the one to stop it.

Sorry to hear that. I hate people who only come around when they want something

Yes, it is hard to do, but making your daughter dependent upon you does not lead her to becoming an independent person.

I agree Sharon, you deserve better than that! I know its painful but cutting her off slowly is probably your best option

I am sorry things tend to happen that way. Maybe tell her directly?

I did that is why she did not ask me for anything. She was hoping I would once again offer it to her.

Hmm I imagine that doesn't feel too good. My son never asks me for anything so I can't really relate.

It is nice when they come to visit but they need to get their own stash before yours is depleted.

Can't your daughter go to work and pay for her own stuff?

My daughter used to come shopping in my stockpile. I never really minded it. She was working on getting herself together, and it was an easy way to help her out. I guess it would have been different if she wasn't trying to get on her feet.
