Do You Read Grocery Labels?

This morning I saw a post on Facebook by a relative regarding food colors that are carcinogenic or harmful to health. This got me the affirmation that it is very important to read grocery labels for our protection. We should be informed of what food additives/colorants are harmful. Even when buying cosmetics and toiletries, we should be cautious. A little time spent on reading labels can save you from health hazards. This will also send a message to manufacturers to shift to healthful ingredients, rather than thinking only of profit to the detriment of people's health. Do you read labels?

I have a list somewhere of all the numbers of the different preservatives and colours. And I do read labels. :)

Yes, I read the label though I do not always remember whatever is harmful. I know that when the food contains too many items with E-something, that sounds bad. if they use natural ingredients, there will not be so many E-something added to it.

You can see it on the web if you wanted to know which ingredients/additives are good or not.

@acelawrites Indeed . That's why we hesitate to buy new goods because they might not be as tasty as what we previously were buying .

Well, that's really nice to have fresh produce directly from the farms because you can avoid so many additives from processed ones. Slow food is the best.
