No more good news on TV

The election season is getting uglier and uglier. There's barely any good news on television anymore. I hate politics and will never get involve in it. The truth is, even though people know what's going on, the closest thing they can do something about it is complain on social media. We are all far too busy with our daily lives to care for the country. I love my Philippines but she is falling apart and hurting in so many places and her children are wailing and crying and fighting among themselves on who is to blame for her pain. What are we going to do once the leaders stopped hiding and decides to enforce their wrongful laws on us? They will because they know that nobody's going to stop them.

I have stopped watching the news or read anything about politics. I am already tired of politicians blaming one another as if they themselves are perfect and did nothing wrong. I just realized I feel stress after watching news about them and I also do not know if those news are balance or bias.

Those are the same words my mother spoke of tonight while we were chatting about what we saw on the television tonight. I don't think I can watch any more either.

@maxen07 I also do not like visiting facebook as it is always teemed with faces of politicians. I avoid anything related to politics. It is very dirty and full of lies. Most of them seems to be just after power and money.

I think it's just a short time before this madness is over, we have to bare with all this since we are a democratic nation and we chose to be one. weather we like it or not this is a political exercise that comes with our freedom.

What freedom? When it comes to the government, there is no freedom but the illusion we were given. The madness we are seeing today is only the tip of the iceberg. I pray that whoever sits at the presidency will be someone who will value his or her duties to the country above selfish gains.

That's the reason why I change to another program if debates on live. I really hate politics since there is no changes in our country's governance.

It is so sad to see the state of the world. This is why I try and avoid watching the news as it is so depressing.

I try to stay away from the news---so much negativity. I want to hear happy things happening to people.

And some people say that when the news are reporting good stuff, they're saying that the truth is being hidden.

The mews can have some depressing issues on it but it also keeps us informed. Yes, politics can be a mess, but things slowly come together.

The American election news here is all we hear on the news, it is getting to where I don't want to even listen to the news or go on online news pages.

Political news on TV has become very wearisome.
