Goodbye Andrew, Hello Harriet

We will be saying goodbye to Andrew Jackson on the United States of America's $20 dollar bill and hello to the new face of Harriet Tubman. So if you want to collect some Jacksons you can put aside some unused bills as keepseakes. I doubt that the value of these will go up in time but then they just might and collectors of stamps and coins might want to invest a few hundred dollars in saving some uncirculated twenties with good old Andrew on them. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2016/04/20/u-s-to-keep-hamilton-on-front-of-10-bill-put-portrait-of-harriet-tubman-on-20-bill/
Andrew Jackson will move to the back of the $20 to make room for the abolitionist.

It might make the old twenties go up in value.

I will be setting aside a few hundred dollars in uncirculated 20's next month and put them in a safe place just in case. The better condition the bill is in, the more value to it to collectors over time.

lol I wrote about this yesterday and I think it is good to finally have a woman on a US bill.

I think it's about time. Who really cares if it's not always a man's face? For that matter I would not mind if they put a famous foot ball quarterback player's face on a 50 and Spock on the front of the 10.

@lookatdesktop I would not want a ball players face on a US bill who cares about football anyways, not me.

Personally, I don't think they should have changed the bill. The people on the bills are from US history and should be respected, removing them isn't respectful. If they want to add new people to money, they should make new denominations to put them on.

Yes I understand your view on this. I am afraid there is not a lot of Team USA loyalty these days or was there ever to begin with.
