I was wondering if anyone else has watched this movie on Amazon called "United States of Japan". It is based upon the premise that Japan had won the Second World War. There was a group of rebels who were fighting for their Freedom. They were called The George Washingtons because they didn't believe Japan's conduct was all that good. It is in part a detective story and a brutal alternate history.

It's a book rather than a film I think.

I have not seen this, but now that you have mentioned it, since I have Amazon I shall watch it in a few days. I will try to get back with you about it later. Thanks. They don't have it at Amazon as a movie DVD but it appears to be available as a book by the author, Liu, Peter Tieryas

@Dena91 Thanks it was a very different take on how things would have been if the war had ended differently.

@Marcyaz I have not seen the movie you mentioned yet but have you seen the movie mini series that was made for broadcast t.v. back in the 80's called Amerika when the USA was invaded by Russia? It was a glimpse into a possible alternative future of America as a communistic country. I wonder about this today in light of current candidates.
