How to do you deal with work stress?

Sometimes I would get work stress and this would get me angry with others. I do feel that I need to relax myself and not to get stressed out. How do one deal with work stress and do you get work stress?

I know what you mean. What you do is take deep breaths and try to relax. Going to yoga class three times a week has help me a lot in controlling my emotion and relieving stress too.

Yoga class is something that is very good especially meditation, but I am not getting time for myself to go since I am working more hours now a days. Good to know it is helping him.

hi @ajthlal I used to ha ve that and had to walk away count to 100 smile and come back as I have diabetes so stress really shoots u p m y blood sugar.

It is a good technique and I will also try long walks and do the counting and smiles techniques.

Whether it's stress with people, or just not being able to solve a problem, getting away from it a bit usually helps me. Taking a short break or a walk or something refocuses my mind.

I think taking a break really helps. Im just a student but I often feel the same with my studies. Do a walk around for sometime.

I invoke the natural medicne within our own system to help me deal with stress. I also focus in the present and donĀ“t forget, but set the past for other more relaxing moments.

Sometimes I will talk with my husband or my close friend. As they are trustful persons for me and I'd like to share my feelings with them. Sometimes I will try to do something else so that I may feel better soon.

It always helps me to take a deep breath. And kind of try to take a step back for a moment from whatever aspect of your job is stressing you out. I also think taking some "me time" is necessary (at least for me) to unwind after a long stressful day.

I left fulltime work last year and now spend all my time online. That's the way I dealt with my work stresses. I don't believe we were born to work 'for the man' but rather work for ourselves. Fortunately, the internet is swinging that opportunity back in our favour.
