a bit of a palaver

Husband has spent most of the day rebuilding his Mother's computer.
I have spent most of the day avoiding Husband as he rebuilds his Mother's computer.
He's uttered a veritable variety of cheekily verbose wordage on quite a few occasions. There have been far too many squeals of frustration and groans of grumpiness. I've tiptoed past the 'office', hoping that he doesn't notice me; I'm quite sure much of the squealing groaniness has been for my benefit, perhaps because he wants to talk about what keeps going wrong. I know nothing about building computers so I would be of minimal {or more aptly, non-existent} help.
He managed to infect the machine, in all its perfect newness, with a virus. My Husband, the clever geeky-nerd who works with computers for a living. I tip-toed back past the 'office' and treated myself to a frozen cocktail {a Woo Woo, yummy} whilst watching the most recent episode of The 100.
Now I'm binge-watching Come Dine with Me, because it's Sunday and I can. I rather fancy some Bread & Butter Pudding, but made with chocolate drops instead of nasty evil sultanas. Mmmm, tasty.

My husband likes to tell me in depth how he's fixing a car, I only care if they're fixed

I think I was talking about computers, mostly. *cheeky grin* {they may well be one and the same, I'm afraid I don't know}

Ah, at least - unlike your husband, seemingly - I know my limits and my place. :)
