Poem Challenge
A poem challenge was offered by @Jessicalynnt, so I thought I would join the FUN and see what I could come up with, using the five words: sniff, sneeze, nose, snort and cough.
A sniff of pepper, makes me sneeze.
Also, does pollen in the breeze.
My nose is rather sensitive to these.
A funny story makes me snort,
With lots of laughter of a sort,
And THEN I cough, as a last resort.

Oh this was a lovely entry! I like the three and three double set, and the rhymes!

Thanks. I have written poems since I was a child. It comes easy to me but I don't know why.

I enjoy these challenges sometimes, depending on the time I have to compose one. Yours is very good, I think the words must have been inspired by a hayfever sufferer.

You could be right. I suffer from the pollen myself and it never bothered me much until recent years.

I love the rhyme in every ine of the stanzas. It created images in my mind while I was at the task of reading each line.

Thanks. I like poems that rhyme as opposed to free verse. However, I have read some really nice free verse poems that others have written. It's just not what I like to write. I guess because I'm not good at it.
