Transcribing is challenging

I'm currently taking an exam on a popular transcribing website. I just took a break to make a post because the noise around me is really annoying, especially if the audio samples that I'm trying to transcript are low in volume. I live along the highway where vehicles come and go and at the same time, the electronics store across the highway is pumping loud music. I've decided to take the test just to see if I can do this. It's basically the same as captioning videos where I need to put whatever I hear into words. I find that if the person is speaking clearly, I can definitely turn them into words. Only sometimes, they tend to deviate from their usual way of speaking and I would end up hearing gibberish. Anyway, I already made a mistake and submitted one of the transcribed samples but it was unfinished and I accidentally clicked on the submit button, LOL! Here I am taking a transcription exam when I should taking the captioning video exam at another website but I'm still kinda scared because if I fail, I'll only be able to apply after six months and I need the income now. Transcription is something of a Plan B but even here, it's already a challenge.

Nope, just short interviews for now but I'm hoping to try legal transcription eventually if I'm going to be hired.

I can transcribe easily depends on the topic. My immediate superior was Australian and difficult to understand.
