What's Come Over Me?

What's come over me? I wish to read and write every chance I get. I didn't feel this way in high school, where I had an A in playing hooky. When I was a teen, I'd never thought of myself as smart. Neither had I thought of myself as dumb. The only book I'd read was the first chapter of the Bible. And the only thing I'd written was on a piece of napkin which I passed to a girl I liked. It stated, "Sarah, I swear I like your hair." My first poem. Now I want to read anything and write about everything. What's come over me?

Do finish that poem. It has potential. Shampoo companies waiting on the side.

I can totally relate! School was not my subject when I was young. Now I go to college and love writing, reading, AND watching documentaries! You're not alone my friend. You have company! :)

Maturity and life, we often realize as we get older that education is the key that opens the world up to us.
