In-Timid-ation

Thinking what might be the reason(s), i can say...am not really picky. When i was getting that third decade of my life and still single, i asked myself, what have i done, or what is wrong with me. I know how to cook, do the laundry and clean the house. Oh men, where are thou. Lol. Yesterday, while i was commenting back, i think of me--not being dependent to them. Yeah, heard those words from my exes. Maybe growing up with my male siblings have made me like that or maybe this is just ME. Doing things i can do without asking for help, because i know I CAN. Some men are intimidated with that. (Take note of the SOME, lol) Oh well. I am enjoying my solitude, no worries. Have you evernget intimidated by someone? *Enters the song, "love me for what i am" by the carpenters.

I have 2 children that still are single. Both are searching. One male and one female. I tell them to have patience. My daughter said her biological clock is ticking away. She is 37. My son is still married to his wife, but they are not together. They have tried numerous times to work it out and always end up apart. Nobody intimidates me. I guess I have aged enough to know that I am important too. If you try to intimidate me, watch out. I bite.

i'm glad'jer embracin' life's't's. i kinda wish i'd stayed single myself, many years 'go. 'tis diff'cult to find fella's that 'ppreciate strong women. too many get bruised egos when they find they're not needed'n the "traditional" way. i've been intimidated by some horses/cows'n bulls'n my time, but've yet to meet a 2 legged bein' that gave me that feelin' :)

I hope you find someone to love you properly, but it won't be the end of the world if you don't. I was quite prepared to stay single, but then happened to meet my husband and that was it. Yours might creep up on you when you aren't looking. (Btw - if you are in your 30s you are in your 4th decade. Just sayin').

It´s hard to believe that armed with those characteristics, men can feel inimidated by you! There must be men from other cultures who would appreciate you possessing all those qualities.

I used to more than I do now. But you made me think of something else. My husband does remodeling and when he used to give people an estimate the men wouldn't want him to do the job but the women would. You know why? Because the men were intimidated that my husband could do a job that they couldn't do. Silly to me since we are all good at different things and there's nothing wrong with that!

The right one will come along soon enough. Men have been like a thorn in my side and wish I was not affected by their poison ;-)
