Ray of hope

We have been.wishing for it, check the forecast, a ray of hope appeared.
The sun's heat is unbearable, painful to the eyes. Though last week, rain had poured down for an hour, it is not enough.
With the chance of rain on the other day, i am praying for it. To have the dry soil taste some.water, like quench its thirst.
Now, crossing my fingers--hands and toes that it will really happen.
How is your weather out there?

Ummm..... The smell of the dry soil during the first few drops of rainfall is so tempting!...I hople you will enjoy and celebrate. Here in South India it is still hot and sunny. Waiting for the rain gods to shower their grace upon us.

Supposed to be a thunder storm here, there are no clouds but the forecast says rain, snow and thunder so who knows-

It is hot outside though when night time comes the heat is not much .
Though , it rained here for 3 consecutive mornings since last Monday to yesterday . It somehow gave the plants some much needed water without having to water them by the people .

it's bright'n sunny here 'n thankfully the winds aint too unbearable. i hear ya'n the need fer moisture, we've not'd but 'bout 2 tenths'f an inch since our blizzard late december. i hope that when the rains come to ya, they're most kind.

@crazyhorseladycx the thing is...if it isdry season, it is ctazily dry, and hot. If it is wet.season, believe me, we will be flooded for rain will be pouring morw than we need.

Yesterday evening, it was really windy and very very slight sprinkle of rain drops. That lasted for only two three minutes really. I think it was a joke.

I was so glad it rained in our place yesterday, for more than an hour, and I can see the plants around looking "happy," and the temperature now is cooler.

You're lucky with that 32 degree temperature. Ours has been 35-36 for over a week now. This will be my last comment for tonight. Going to bed now. Good night :)
