I have not been able to eat pancakes for years. I could not eat the syrup for nothing at all. I tried many of them and got sick. Then I decided to give log cabin a try. Bam! I could eat pancakes now. Today,is my second day having them in over 6 years. Iam going to try not to make them often though. I don't want to get tired of them. They are good though. Nice and buttery.

I couldn't eat pancakes for the longest time because when I was a kid my mom would drown them in syrup and they would turn to mush. Now I can have as much or as little as I want.

You probably can't digest the fake syrup. I have homemade straight tapped from the tree, and the store bought stuff is disgusting.

@sharon6345 The store boughten one is basically sugar sugar, and crap. I remember eating it years ago and real sweet. I get homemade boiled syrup from the tree, and it's nothing like boughten. Very mild, is sweet but is natural sugars.

I hear you on needing the right syrup. I can't stand most of the stuff in the store. We get the big bottle of real maple syrup from either Costco or Sam's Club (depends where it's least expensive when we're out) and use that. It goes great on salmon, too.
