Weasel Saves Humanity

The Hadron Collider is a 17 mile machine used to smash things together. Not cars or anything like that Lets go a little smaller and call them protons. The machine is supposed to smash them together at the force of close to the speed of light. The machine was designed to find dark energy or matter. Something scientists believe make up most of the universe. Just cannot be seen or detected by technology at this point. If done right the machine is said to suppose to create a small black hole. This is all if I remember right. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong on anything. That is because this post is really about a weasel who saved us. Do not know about you, but do not feel like being sucked into a black hole in the near future. The weasel took one for the team. like a Marine jumping on a grenade for their platoon. The weasel bit into the long power chord electrocuting itself. Causing the machine to once again not be able to function properly. The small mammal most likely did this just because it did not know any better. I like the idea the mammal knew what the machine does and was trying to save the planet. Animals do know certain things that the almighty humans do not know sometimes.

I saw this on the news tonight. It was a cute little devil. The black holes created lack any sufficient mass to sustain and they fizzle out pretty quickly.

That is what they say, but what happens if a cat gets into the machine? They go to fire it up and the black hole eats the cat giving it extra energy to where it starts to eat the machine, then the scientists. It is a slippery slope to be messing around with. Of course I am being straight silly, but that would be one wild ride for that cat.

@crossbones27 I don't see the creation of black holes being that easy. After all, they are a life stage in a star's growth and that takes a star a long time to reach.

well, I hope it benefits us more in the future, that's probably something people should know these days.
