~I Was Attacked In My Sleep~

Not by a person, don't worry! 
Let me explain. I was feeling so close to God last night after Bible study and I told Satan to stay out of my house and away from my family-so he was mad!!
Because he had no other form of attack he attacked me through my dreams. I had a dream my husband was cheating was on me. I know my husband would never do that to me...but it still left this bad feeling in my heart.
So...I have to pray and ask God to remove any bad thoughts before trying to go back to sleep.
Has Satan ever attacked your dreams?

although temptations are not sins, saying yes to them will resort to committing sins. Satan has his way sof inviting us to sin even not in dreams.

@toniganzon Yes he does of course, but when he cannot reach you while awake he will attack through dreams too.

I heard of someone who prayed over his pillow before he went to bed! I've never tried it but he seemed to think it protected his thoughts while he slept.
Sometimes if I have a bad dream it reflects my anxieties. There was a time, when I first came to Greece, when I frequently dreamed that I could not find my way home. In your case it might have been something you ate before you went to bed.

@41CombedaleRoad I never tried that one either. I felt great before bed-so close to my husband and so on fire for God. Which is why I think Satan was trying to tear me down and steal my joy but I did not let him.

I've had nightmares but nothing like that. I can understand why you'd be shaken by something like that, it probably just means that you are missing him from working so many hours and you need some family time together-Sunday is coming and hopefully you'll all enjoy each other together then.

@shshiju I disagree since Satan tempted Jesus! Satan can tempt and get to anyone he wants to-if God allows it. It's what we do with it that matters.

I don't remember my dreams. The only time I do is when I am sick enough to have a fever. I have the same dream. Well, I take that back. Every once in a while I wake up and remember a fragment of one. Glad yu got that figured out. I would be freaked.

Yes, I dreamed the other day that I was making lots of money on the internet, which is not posible, not at this time. I think that was an attack from evil.

that is sad, do you dream often? I have not had a dream in a long time. Bad dreams will never make you feel good, but you know there were only a dream, so do not let it bother you.
