It Had a Sweet Stink

From the time my kids were little, I made a habit of writing down their cute little sayings for prosperity. This was one that my 4 year old daughter came up with.
We were on vacation and were renting a house for a couple of weeks. She came in the back door with a fist full of mint in her hand. She had no idea what it was, but it had "a sweet stink" she announced as she handed me the bouquet.
And every time I see mint at a nursery... I think of that vacation!!

How sweet is that? I have my memories of my kids and now grandkids. They do say the cutest things.

You have to wonder how their little mind works. My granddaughter told my daughter that she wasn't a little monkey... she is a people. You just can't make that stuff up lol!

lol... in the mind of a 4 year old, I guess that is how mint smelled to her.
