It's not that I'm not friendly or unsociable; it's just not my thing to go around making new friends every time there's opportunity. And because of that I'm often tagged as a snob. A co- worker of mine even called me "the principal" I'm not offended, I knew it was intended as a joke anyway. But what other people don't realize is that friendship is important and at the same time fragile. The reason why I don't make too many friends is because I wanted only a few to keep me company. And by few - I mean, the real ones. I see a lot of people hanging out telling everyone that they're friends with this guy or that but whenever they have the chance to talk against their so-called-friends, they often do. And they do it with prowess which is why I'm often disappointed. Makes me all the more cautious when making friends. I'm happy though that I have a few friends who I can always count on. And boy! was I glad to have them in my life.
