It rained all day yesterday so I didn't have a chance to take pictures of the new flowers I bought the other day at the garden center. While everything is still very wet outside I did go and take some pictures of some of the flowers. They are of course still in their pots but soon we will plant them, I would say in a week or so. Depending on the weather. This is a very pretty Primrose. We have several Primrose in our gardens but I have never seen this color. I had to have it. Primrose grows amazingly well for us, every year the plants get bigger and produce more flowers.

I love these flowers. I'd love to have a garden. But we don't have much space to plan flowers and such where we are. Maybe when we get a place of our own.

Apt name I would say. Our other primroses do so very well. I'm hopeful for this one to spread like my others do.

I also have many primroses, but none with such a vibrant color. I had a peach one that I liked so much, but I fear that the color changed, it seems it get mixed with the others.

What beautiful flowers! I'm jealous, they don't grow well here. I think it gets too hot for them in the summer. I still have 2 plants sitting in their pots that I have not been able to plant yet. Every time the ground gets almost dry enough to plant them, it rains again!

We also have muddy conditions but they can survive for some time in the pots, so I'm not worried yet lol. Thanks.

@fishtiger58 I have one plant, a columbine flower, that is very pot bound and is drying out so fast. I have to really keep an eye on it to keep it alive. I would really like to get it planted soon!

Good question, these don't grow as tall as roses they stay fairly close to the ground, There are so many different varieties of roses who the heck knows. The scientific name on the tag is Primula polyantha. I'm pretty sure the doesn't help me one bit.
