Red Lipstick Kind of Day

I woke up exhausted today but was very willing to go to yoga class. But a message came early at 6 in the morning from my bff saying she couldn't go because of hyperacidity. 
I decided to spend the morning in myLot while watching Jon Snow come alive again in the Game of Thrones. Oh yes! He's alive!
Since I was feeling a little down it was showing all over my face. I needed some perk me up thingy to look fresh before going to the office. Red lipstick!
Yes, red lipstick can change the way we look in an instant.
So was it a red lipstick kind of day for you too?

I don't wear lipstick but I'm glad it makes you feel better. =) When I'm feeling down I just pray about it.

Prayer is a good thing. But I have to look good in front of my clients and the color red makes my face lively.

When choosing a red lipstick make sure you know the undertone. When you have a tan skin like me, make sure your red lipstick has a brown undertone. If you're mestiza, look for a red lipstick with pink undertone. it makes a lot of difference. i see a lot of women making mistakes in choosing the right kind of lipstick.

It has faded after eating a slice of pizza and a baked ziti. I don't like retouching my lipstick after eating lol! But it's red. Dark one.

I am also wearing a red lipstick now . There are days when i like to wear it but some days , it's the light colored one . Well, it depends on the color of our top also .

@SIMPLYD lol red lipstick with undertone goes well with fair skinned women. Red lipstick with brown undertones are my kind of thing since i got brown skin.

@CRK109 From this discussion, i could see women not finding the right shade of red for them. There are too many versions of red that would suit different kind of skin tones. We just have to find them. Thanks for sharing!

@toniganzon Darker reds look better with my skin tone for lipstick, while I can wear real fire engine red on the rest of my body. I just love the color and what it represents and how I feel when I wear it. :)

@toniganzon just few weeks ago, i tried to test one of my lipsticks which I have not worn for a long time. I put it on very taking a bath. All of a sudden my niece came up the master bedroom and opened the toilet. I was surprised but she was even more dumbfounded when she saw wearing a lipstick under the shower lol.

@toniganzon i went to the bank this afternoon with my red lipstick only to discover that i did not bring my ATM card (it was in my other bag); i wanted to deposit the check of my SSS sickness benefits. i had to go back home after 45 minutes in the city. i will go back tomorrow at 8:30AM.

Yeah kinda. An ex gave me kiss marks all over my body and the red lipstick further accentuated the kiss marks.
