Ok,Im not talking about the emotional kind. Although that too. I am currently trying to pack for my little 4 day adventure in Colorado. And I have never had such difficulty trying to fit so mich stuff in a carry on size luggage. Aggh! Every trip I have taken (Mexico 3x, Vegas, Texas) I have squeezed all I need in a carryon bag. Only one trip I needed to check luggage for. Mainly I avoid it because airports are a hassle enough without worrying about checking and waiting for baggage. Plus I save $25 or so whenever traveling which is sweet. Do you do this too?

One carry one bag would not be suffice for me for 3 days either, I'd suck it up and pay so that I could take what I wanted/needed to. Good luck with packing.

I have a small suitcase with wheels. I really have 2 (one smaller than the other) but I only take one because it is all I can carry. I go to trips in planes and I donĀ“t mind waiting while the suitcases are being taken out. I use that time to seek a toilet as I hate to "go" in a plane Some people use bags, but I would not feel comfortable.

It is also kind of a pain to take you carryon out of the storage in the planes but I figure youd be waiting for others to do this anyway!

Luggage is so expensive now so a carry on is much better to deal with. I don't care to deal with the long lines at the airport. Have fun on your trip.

That is really good for you that you can squeeze in everything in a carry on bag. This means you plan well from what to wear and what are only the necessities. For me, I can't no matter how I try Lol. I always end up checking in our luggage. I had a 3 day trip somewhere and we got 2 luggage with us. I thought all clothes I brought will be use but then I ended up having extra clothes . Sometimes It is hard for me to plan on how many things I have to bring with me coz there are trips where I thought I had brought enough stuff. But then I have to buy some shirt as I run out of shirt to wear..

I try to keep things of yesterday in the day itself. That's how it helps me move ahead.

Yikes! I am not sure if I could do this. Well, maybe for a trip that was only 4 days long I could. My daughter and I came to Africa with just one suitcase and our carry-ons. But, our carry-ons were very heavy, which was hard getting through some of the larger airports (Atlanta and Paris). Next time I will check in another suitcase and not have to lug so much heavy stuff through the airport.
