Pennies are Good! / myLot

It has been a while since I have gotten so excited about a few cents. Of course, it doesn't add up to much, but it does add up. I almost have enough to buy a Coke...if it were 1985! LOL What could you buy with your pennies so far this month?

That is something! I think my earnings so far might buy a loaf of bread in Guinea, but not in Dakar today.

Boy, I think I have made about 40 cents so far this month. I don't mind though, I don't actually buy anything tangible with the MyLot money, just put it in my savings. I get excited whenever my savings account increases, even if just by a few dollars. Every little bit counts, you know?

It is in pennies. but well better than nothing. it adds up and sometimes helps for things you need.

@Frischy It takes a lot of time on mylot to make money. 10$ here are like 100$ outside with this effort.

Funny thing I was just thinking about what you could buy back in the 1990 and 1980s; your money was able to stretch much further back then.

There is nothing you can buy with a few pennies here in Switzerland. I have made 2.26 dollars for the month of May, I can buy 6 eggs.

Pennies do add up, I am never one to pick them up off the ground, but my mom does, she puts them in a jar and had $59 saved up.. So I guess I will start having a contest with her picking them up and putting them in a jar, $59 is a great chunk of change.
