A quiet day spent largely online and recovering from a late boozy performance night. My only venture out was to sort some bills out for my Mum who was delighted to win just £6 on her weekly lottery tickets. I stumbled, via postings here on Mylot on a pay to read website that pays in Bitcoins and though it is very slow to load – you have to spend ten timed minutes on each page even though they can be read in less than two, I have become too absorbed in the crime novel from 1920 book I started to read to want to pull out. I just dip in and read a page and leave it running while I look at other pages. It is running even now. Arthur Chappell

whats the title of your book? and 10minutes to stay on a page? thats too much of a demand, i hope theyre paying more than $0.001 per view.

@MGjhaud the book is The White Moll by Frank L Packard, a free to read work, - they pay 4,000 Satoshis per page - there are 288 pages in the book. I'm on page 22, and can only turn pages every ten minutes regardless of how fast I read

oh wow.. probably do that on a spare device while you work on something on the other. not sure how bitcoin works but how much is 4000 satoshis in dollars? or how does that work for you to gain money from doing that? sorry im asking too much.

now letting it run in the background, stick a timer on your pc to let you know when to "change" pages while you read something else? Not a bad idea there. at least making something while relaxing

I don't mind the timing principle but ten minutes between pages of a book is reading a novel at 6 pages per hour which is silly

@Jessicalynnt that is my thinking - just gives me a free enjoyable read and it isn't too taxing waiting for the page turn option to light up

@arthurchappell oh it sounds silly, but if you are going to read anyways, might as well have that run while you read or watch tv

Good to have another website in the mix especially if you can get around the slowness.

So you get paid for reading? That's cool.
