So hot I couldn't enter my room

Philippines
May 3, 2016 3:55pm CST
After feeding my pets, and watering plants I tried to go back to my room and go to mylot. But I couldn't bare the heat as I enter this room, even with the exhaust fan I couldn't take it. It's like the heat is suffocating you, instead I went to the living lying on the couch. I didn't come back until it was evening and I couldn't sleep in the living room. I missed my other room were my mom sleeps now. I'm just fed up with this weather, but I fear the next season could be worse too the way summer is today. But right now, just ranting about this weather.

Lots of showers with cold water might help. I once went to vist an uncle by the ocean shore and hhad to take daily showers to relieve the suffocation from the weather temperature.

Hello @quantum2020 well, i don't mind but it was a lot better to me bathe in the evening because that's where I could sleep much better and well.

@hereandthere I think being near to the shore is warmer because the sea breeze is also quite warm.

I use two fans when I have to stay inside my room at noontime. One near my door and one near my laptop. I also open all my windows and even the door is also open.

yes, the computers also suffer from the heat. opening the door and windows help the air circulate.

Hello @brokenbee I use two fans as well, one for the morning and the other for the evening. But there are nights that even the fan couldn't be much help.

i feel bad about you guys who are in places where power outages are common and even shuts down the water. the lights went out for two seconds last night, or was it the other night, but that's it.

it's like you want to have dark curtains, but that would block out the air also.

@Letranknight2015 so, just an exhaust fan? no electric fan to cool your room?

Sounds like you need to get a fan to blow on you whenever you are in your room.

@Letranknight2015 even an a/c unit will struggle if the bedroom is on the west side of the house during our summer season

Even here it is hot! It is plus 28 centigrade. But I am sure it is much hotter down there (Philippines). It must be in the 40's these days.

Oh well, I know how it feels! At moments it feels like I have been put in a furnace, and am slowly waiting for the spices to come all over me and get cooked along! I wonder how humans (including me) survive this heat!
