Update: 3 May 2016 Soggy days on the Hudson

It's been a cycle of storms here on the Hudson for the last few days. I don't mind it raining, I actually enjoy it. But the last few days have been difficult for me -- the anit-inflammitories are not working as well as I could wish for. So I have been taking it easy, and only getting what is necessary finished. Mostly dinner and the dishes. Finished reading Angel of Vengeance. It's good. Now have moved onto Eiji Yoshiwara's Taiko, about the civil wars in Japan at the end of the sixteenth century. It's fiction, with a smart-mouthed brat of a boy for a hero. Tried to make popovers tonight from a mix from King Arthur Flour. Meh. Not as good as I could have hoped. Oh well, it's how you learn.
