I thought I was supposed to get a crown and be done with the after math of my root canal. No I was wrong. I got like a filling put in and that's all. They have to send estimates to my insurance company to see if they will approve me getting a crown. After that I have to make 2 freaking appointments the first of which will be an hour and a half long! I just want all my teeth business to be over and done with. What is the most times you have had to have work done on your teeth?

Wow why will the appointment take an hour and a half? What is it that they are going to be doing at that one? Is that if they are able to put the crown on you mean? I hope your insurance will cover it. I have only had one cavity in 32 years thankfully. I do not want anymore. That took is very sensitive. When my late husband and I started dating he had to have a few root canals done they were painful and very expensive.

Yeah if the insurance wont cover it then im going to be out of luck. In the first one they have to shape my tooth by like sanding it down or whatever, then get molds made and after that they send the mold to wherever to have my crown made. Then i dont know how long that takes but when they get it I get it put on in the second appointment which will be pretty quick

I'm sorry you have to go through all of that. I haven't had much work done on my teeth but my husband has. He had all of his teeth pulled, and the dentist did it where he had to go back 5 times before it was all done. Now he has to go back again to get his dentures put in. He is tired of the back and forth as well.

@IvySaysHi I thought about it too but with the pain my husband was in after it I think I will just stick with tooth pain.
