A Little Worried

My daughter is having surgery Friday morning. She had a sport’s injury from years ago and her wrist bone never healed properly. The procedure will last a couple of hours and she’ll get to go home the same day. She will be in a cast for three months.
I wanted to go but she said that she would rather me stay here. She ordered me flowers for that day! Her dad is going to be there. So, my mother’s heart wants to go but I know she is fine and I am going to listen to her as bad as it kills me.
Say a little prayer that all will go well. I am sure it will but I can’t help but be a little worried.

Of course you are worried. She is your daughter. That is what mothers do. I will be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers.
