A Funny Story: Red Underwear Brings Luck?

For Chinese people, the color red brings fortune and luck in their lives. You have noticed that most of their traditional clothes and even in their practices shaded in red. In some point, Filipinos are influenced with such lucky color. There is a particular funny story that I had experienced of wearing a red underwear before taking the national licensure examination to be a certified Physical Therapist in my country. The funny thing, I felt a bit embarassed because the red underwear can be seen in my white uniform. Most of the examinees are staring at me and I was surrounded with mischevous smiles from them. Regardless, I brushed it off since I need to focus. At the back of my mind, I started to hate my bestfriend for suggesting it. But then, it seems that the red underwear brings luck to me. I passed the national licensure examination. The total examinee passed during that time is 200 out of 4,200. Photo Credit:

I don't think it's bad luck, Superman wears his red underwear outside his pants and he is always kinda lucky haha..,so don't believe that

Nothing wrong in trying your luck by wearing the lucky color! When I have important transactions i wear red underwear too whether it may bring good luck or not, I just wear it!

I just tried the superstition belief. But I agree with you. I had studied hard prior to the examination.

Haha I do not play along with any superstitions but I think it is funny that although you had white pants on you wore red undies. Glad that you passed your exam that is awesome! I would have just worn a red hair tie or something haha.

Haha, it seems that the color of red is a lucky color for Chinese. And some Chinese will buy the red underwear before Chinese New Year and put them on Chinese New Year eve. But I don't believe it and I don't buy red underwear. But that's great that it brings your good luck
