Do you think it is possible to prevent and even reverse serious health issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, etc, through nutrition ( healthy eating ), exercise ( vigorous ), etc? Have you heard of Dr. Joel Fuhrman? He is a medical doctor. Does what he says make any sense to you? What are you doing that works? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Acts 15:29 Amplified Bible (AMP) 29 that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from [consuming] blood, and from [eating the meat of] things that have been strangled, and from sexual impurity. If you keep yourselves from these things, you will do well. Farewell.” Genesis 1:29 New International Version (NIV) 29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

I shared this video with a friend that was dealing with high blood pressure and she said that she brought it down by 29 points by just cutting down salt. Interesting!

@1hopefulman I do not use much salt, although I have decreased what I do use. I have concentrated on adding healthy things and cutting junk.

I have not read Dr. Joel Fuhrman, but I believe that most diseases and conditions can be reversed by good nutrition and exercise. Fresh air and a good attitude help, too. However, there are some things that only a miracle can reverse (and I believe in miracles).

I also believe in miracles. I don't demand them but I ask as I have nothing to lose.

@1hopefulman I think it would be arrogant to demand a miracle. Our Maker is in control, we aren't!

I have watched Dr. Joel Fuhrman before and his advice does make sense. I do not eat meat since the human intestine is much longer than a carnivores intestine and meat sits in the intestine for too long a time and does damage. Also, the stomach acid of humans is weaker than that of carnivores and I can imagine that meat sits in the human intestine and rots. Rancid meat in a human's intestine cannot be good. I also have cinnamon every day to ward off diabetes. And of course, organic apple cider vinegar that does a host of good things for the human body.

I also think that what he says makes a lot of good common sense!
