I made it home from the hospital and couldn't be happier to be in my own bed. First thing i did was showered but can only wash my hair with one hand so that was hard but felt good to shower and clean pajamas on. Surgery went well it turned into a 6 hour surgery, they gave me sedation instead of full anesthesia. Last night went good i had some pain but not alot. I am taking Tylenol every 4 hours to help with the pain etc. I'm just very sore and exhausted. I won't be on here for a few days as i'm that sore and I have to wear a sling if I do too much repetitive work with my left arm. But I just wanted to update you all. Have a great rest of your week and I'll be on when I can.

@marlina yes ty glad all went well. I been doing nothing but sleep and trying not to over do it. I wear the sling when my shoulder starts bothering me. It felt good to finally get a shower today and get my hair washed so all is good with the world lol.

@corbin5 it sure was but the doctor is very thorough and likes things to be perfect. Plus they had issues with the vein as it was not a straight vein when putting in the defibrillator. But all is done and now on to recovery.

@carebear29 sorry to hear you were in the hospital. I had to stay over night after surgery to watch for infection and then went home the next morning. I have a 6 to 8 week recovery.
