Enjoying the Sunshine

The above is a view from where we had a picnic yesterday. It was such a beautiful day, I packed a lunch, and my friend and I went down by the lake. It was very nice there, breeze was a bit cool off the water, but that was okay.
Today marks the third day in a row that the sun is shining, and it is really warm. The leaves are opening up quickly and I see that the lilac bush in the yard is getting large buds on it, so will soon be in bloom.
So I am not spending any more time on the computer than I have to, as I want to enjoy this nice weather while it lasts. Supposed to be a bit cooler for the weekend and maybe some rain.

It's strange how this nice weather, makes us forget about the cold. Soon we will be finding it too hot.

I wonder if picnics are as common as they once were? When the kids were little, we used to take them out quite often. Sadly, hubby and I haven't been on a picnic in years.

We did it a lot with our children, too. I am glad that I have found a friend this year who likes that sort of thing.

We've had a few consecutive days in a row of nice weather. Yesterday I actually sat outside and read for awhile and enjoyed the sun. I don't blame you for wanting to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather while it lasts.

Hopefully Spring is here to stay, and we can tolerate a few rainy days, knowing that we will have more sunshine.

That is a lovely photograph but I see that the trees are still rather bare so I expect you were dressed warm. It is ages since I went for a picnic, such a crime really not to make the best of fine days,.

The breeze off the water was a bit chilly, but sun was very warm. Leaves have really come out the last couple of days, so it would look quite different today

Right now it is winter here in Jerusalem so when the sun comes out and is nice I like it, but, I know we need rain. This is the only time we get rain or suppose it get it.
