A blot is a stain or a spot on a cement sidewalk or an article of clothing. Did you ever make a dye tie shirt using blots of food color and paint that you can put on clothing. I did that one year with my grandchildren and my three youngest children. They had so much fun making those shirts that we had to make their parents one on another day. That sure was a lot fun. We got the shirts real cheap at a craft store.

We used to do that in our Home Economics class. Teacher was so strict we needed to make perfect blots. Duh.

I used to tie die everything once upon a time. It is a fun activity for both adults and children.

Haven't you seen dye tie shirts before. They are still popular.
