On my walk today ....

I met some goats ..., it was a small herd of about 20 goats ... and in amongst  them,  there were several young ones, and some big 'billy goats' too..., with big horns... and the herd was spread all across the footpath. I decided,  they could have the path...,  and I walked uphill a bit, and gave them space...,  but,  I did stop and take photos to share with you all, but  I also kept an eye on them..., as they were keeping an eye on me..., and they have big eyes...., weird, eery eyes ..., not cute and sweet like a puppies..., and I did not want to get butted by those big horns either ... lol's  ...  I think it was because they had young with them. I took quite a few photos, but they were much more interested in chewing the grass, not what I was doing ...  so then I continued on my way... oh my gosh't all the green! the horses here'd be most thrilled to've all that beautiful grass to eat! aint so sure how well they'd gotten 'long with those goats though, lol. baby goats're jest cute 'n then once they get a bit'f size'n 'em...well, not so much. great shots, hon. i'd been with ya'n steered clear'those horns's well. i've been butted a few times'n my life 'n such aint very pleasant. big hugs 'n love!

@sueznewz2 pygmy goats're adorable from birth 'til "the bitter end" - the others, not so much :D yepperz, i was soakin' 'n all that green! somethin' bout those big bulgin' eyes...

Yes it is beautifully green... i'm glad you like the photos... I must say that i'm not that keen on em... the goats...that is ... they are animals and I wouldn't hurt them... but it's their eyes.... I don't think they're that cute... lol's

They all look so harmless. But tell me, they are tagged, so I assume that they are in their natural habitat and not livestock, is that right?

Yes thats right Julia @Juliaacv they're tagged but just for identification purposes they are not being farmed or anything like that ... just part of the wild life centre...
