When I look for something, I always find another.

Good morning, mylotters. I´m sure that I would not be able to work at a lost and found part of any store. It seems that I have never been able to find what I want when I search for it. This gets worse with age, but it has been that way forever. Today I was looking for some pictures I took in St. Maarten the time I was there. I could not find them. Yet I found others that were lost inside my computer. If I were rich, I would have a computer with only pictures and I would spend my time sorting them. Do you have that problem? If I can and find it again, I will add here a picture I took a couple of years ago when I went to the seashore. Wish me luck. PS I found some St. Maarten pictures, but the one I wanted to show you got lost

I have this problem and not only with my digital pictures, I have hundreds of printed photos from the past.

I bought albums for the printed pictures and they are fine. It is the digital and the computer that upsets me.

O, you remind me when I was young (age 18 to 21) . . I kept looking for pretty young girls (of my age); but I always found older pretty ladies (3 to 5 years older than me). So some of my ex-girlfriends were older than me. . O, I loved it coz older ladies are more caring, loving, and generous.

@marguicha Yeah, I did . . you were looking for pictures that you took before but you found others instead . . . So, it is similar to my situation when I was young. I was looking for girlfriends of my age, but met older ladies instead. And, actually, my wife is 3 years older than me.

I know! The question is where. I saw them today, when I was looking for the one I just downloaded.

strange how this post came upon my path today - I went looking for a pen this morning, I landed up cleaning out a drawer, then later I sat at my notes and had to go looking for a pen again - eventually I got the pen after I had done a million other errands

That is very much the story of my life. I also need to organize my computer images.

I don´t like the word "friendly" as computers go. Old albums with printed pictures were better.

If it happens to so many people, Mr. Gates or his boys should teach us how to do it

Finding things (like my car keys or glasses) in the real world is hard enough. Searching for photos in the computer labyrinth is a major task.

The word "keys" give me shivers. I finally put some nails in a hidden place in the dining room shelves. But if the keys move, I am lost.
