Well today is my last day to rest and then back to work tomorrow. I am still sore and can't really lift my arm so I will just take it easy at work tomorrow and not over due it. I'm just sad to see my vacation is over even though it really wasn't much of one since I was healing from surgery. I still got 7 weeks of recovery left. My sister was very helpful this weekend it was nice having her down and spending time with my niece as well. She helped cleaned out the rest of my room so now all we gotta do is move everything out for my new bed to arrive and we are painting my room as well, I can't wait. It's what I wanted for my birthday this week is a new bedroom set etc. So now I'm just resting today as i overdid it this weekend and my shoulder is hurting. It's definitely going to be a day using my sling to help the healing process as well. I'll try to be on here more today as well since I really haven't been all weekend with having company over. Hope you all enjoyed your weekend and that you have a great Sunday.

@marlina yes just sucks not being able to lift my arm above my shoulder for 7 more weeks. I have to shower and get dressed with just my right arm. Hard to wash your hair with one hand but i am getting used to it lol. When my sisters come over though they wash my hair for me but they can't be here every day

Sounds like some nice time spent with your sister. I hope you enjoy your new bed. The time seems to have gone by so quickly.

@kristenh ty I'm hanging in the best i can. Healing from surgery is not easy especially when your used to always being on the go and doing things on your own

It seems when there's time off it's short lived. One may not want to come off their vacation. I hope the healing process is very short. Take care and enjoy your week.

@teep11 yeah but it really wasn't vacation for me as I had surgery tuesday and i took time off to recover. I have 7 weeks of recovery as I had a defibrillator put in. The process is going slowly but atleast i can do a bit more each day

@tampa_girl7 still sore but able to get around a little better. I can't lift my arm above my shoulder though for 7 more weeks so i don't pull the wires out, that's whats making it hard with showering and getting dressed but i'm making it best i can.

@dodo19 ty me too. I'm able to do a bit more as i'm not that sore but still unable to lift my arm so i don't pull the wires from the defibrillator. If that happens they have to go back in and re do it.

@cherriefic work is fine is just not being able to use my arm yet the issue. I can't lift above my shoulder since I had a defibrillator put in and can't lift it due to pulling the wires out. 7 weeks of recovery left.
