Yeah, no.
I bought a banner that says "ENGAGED" but this is what I received. ENGAED!
No, I'm not engaged *yet* just buying some decorations here/there.
We both agreed before the end of the year. Plus, I received this banner at a promotional discount but the seller told me to contact Amazon for this issue as the item is fulfilled by Amazon.
Amazon told me to keep the banner and they'll refund me my money. No, I don't want my money. I want a "G" or replacement. I will be happy to send them this back! Amazon said they cannot honor the price I paid.
I just contacted the seller, let's see if they will respond. If not, they will get a bad review from me as its a waste of time!...

Totally! The man was not getting it. He kept insisting he will honor this one time where I can keep the product and I'll get my money back. And I wrote back saying do you understand? I have no use in this banner. I cannot hang a banner with a missing letter. He totally did not see the inconvienence. I could make a banner like this too but the point was to get it out of the packaging without any missing letters! Ah so annoyed!

I have no idea haha!! The company said they'll be mailing me a replacement from China. Not sure if it's happening! Because why can't they give me the code from Amazo and order there like I did to get it in 2 days! They said it'll take 17-25 days probably!

And I thought you really got engaged!
At times, for stores to get it right, you need to stand by your principle and not just the offer to refund the money. It means they either provide substandard items or they don't check at all.
17-25 days? That seems to be a long time... though considering the logistics that needs to happen. I do hope they give you the correct one.

I think it was more of their expense in sending over the item - maybe for them it's not worth the amount? What do you think?

Yeah I could be artistic but I'll rather do the entire letter than replace one.
I'm not sure if they're at a lost or not since it's essentially paper printed on top.

Haha I know right When I opened the package and lining the letters.. I was like this is not spelt correctly is it? Then I did a double take, yes incorrectly spelt. Such a simple word though eh?!

@flapiz Seller told me to contact the shipper (Amazon). Amazon told me to contact the Seller. Back and forth now seller promised to send me a replacement.. but it is coming from China so it may take up to like 25 days!

Wow...Really how on earth do you just "miss" a letter out of a word like that?? That is crazy and what good is a banner without the letter rather they gave you your money back or not. It is a nice banner I love it but without the G what the heck good is it in the first place!?! They need some better workers there or someone who can spell better or something

I like the banner too! I know, the Amazon chat people I spoke to were not useful. Like, what am I going to do with this banner if it's missing a letter. I can't do anything except yeah use the hearts maybe but still seriously? Seller said they will send me a replacement but it can take up to 25 days as its shipping from China so let's see if I even get it!

The seller is going to send me a new one but it will take 17-25 according to her. I told that it's fine the time estimation as I really don't need it yet but let's see if she will send it. I will leave a 4 star temporarily and include my photos and note mines missing a "g" but replacement is on its way. But if no response or replacement I'll go back to a 1 star + time wasted. I like the banner but it's not useful at all! Amazon man was pissing me off with he will honor one time return with no need to ship it back. Like I can't use it hello?

Ha-ha. I know what you mean. It is very disappointing and when the seller aren't even communicating properly and just throwing me back and forth. They finally accepted fault and said they'll resend me another one. It's been over 10 days, so lets see.

I was thinking of the purpose of the two Gs (guy & girl/Guy & guy/Girl & girl, etc).
They need to send you the other G. Engagement entails two Gs, in your case, a guy & a girl.

The seller told me they will send me a new one but let's see if that's true as it will take 17-25 days to get to me since they're from China. But when I ordered from Amazon it only took 2 days.

Haha I know right! I was using the chat feature and after I told him like hello! Why would I keep this if I can't use it? After he kept insisting. Then finally I guess he got the memo so he told me hold on for like 5 minutes to see what solution he can better do for me. Well, he told me a different department can price match what I paid and I was chat transferred the man could not help me again! Saying they only price match TV prices only. Makes no sense whatever!! Seller said they will send me a replacement now but it takes 17-25 days coming from China.
