They are smart but i know, i am smarter. While having snacks, my nephews asked me about that "thing" on camel's back and its purpose. On the back of my.mind, i am thinking, "kids, it's showtime". Answered them like i am "confidently beautiful with a.heart". It is called.humps, where camel stored water.for them.to survive the desert. And since i want to prove them that their aunt is smart, i give them an additional trivia on camel's long eye lashes. *an aunt is really making an impression, lol* That was just our "serious" conversation would go. Advice them to read a lot, watch discovery channel.or nat geo, etc. Haha. Kids will be kids but hope they will read some stuff too while on vacation. Do have those "serious" talks to kids too?

I think actually the hump is full of fat rather than water but I wouldn't worry about it.

@Lucky15 She also said - she would not worry about it. So you also dont worry about it. Kids are not going to perform any tricks to find out if that is fat or anything else there...

I wish I can do something to my nephews and nieces who are not yet teenagers but I already disowned because they were a bunch of racist jerks that puts me in trouble while I was treating them in the mall because I was being the cool uncle.

@Lucky15 I treated them in the mall and they screamed and tease the N-word the moment they sew a group of tall bulky looking Black guys. they scream a lot of racist stuff and laugh very loudly, You can ima gine the trouble these little kids gave me. I blame TV networks glorifying white skin and not censoring the n word.

@Lucky15 But what actually the hump's main purpose then? isn't for storing water which I always think is.

That's why I like watching random channels like the discovery channel and stuff like that, so when I do get asked a question, I'm able to give random facts. Not quite sure if it'd ever prove a purpose but I thought it was cool.

My niece is too young that all she wants to do was to color objects. She does not ask much. My nephew is an 8 year old boy. We have talked about countries. Just like me, my nephew is very interested when it comes to different places. I bet, he will also love to travel when he grows up.

When I went back in Manila. I am always keen in teaching them how to handle finances. Last yearI gave them a challenge about saving money and I bought for them a Monopoly. Last April, when I went back, we played and played and instances giving them lessons how to handle money to have a good position in that board game. I always telling them, that is a practice in how to deal in real life. :)

When I talk to my kids in serious tone, normally takes two hours or more. But for small talks, I am never serious So they're like always waiting for the punchline

The hump of camel is full of fat and not water, they use the fat to survive when the food is scarce. They store the water in their stomach.

The only time I get serious questions from kids is - uncle can we play here We (me and the landlady) have purchased in some games for the kids from the slum localities nearby. Every Sunday they would come in and use them to play. Now, as it is summers and we have high temperatures, we do not want kids to play in the hot sun. The landlady shows them her anger when they ask her for the kits. So now, they have stopped asking her and come to ask me. I have allowed them to play some games indoors during the day time.
