Disappointed with LiteracyBase / myLot

Yup, that teaches me to invest any time in somewhere other than MyLot. I wrote 4 blogs over there this weekend, starting with 2 on Saturday and not a single one has gone live yet. They are all still “Awaiting Approval”. I think 2 days is more than enough time to approve a blog post that fits their criteria! I'm very disappointed. At first, I had fun setting up a forum which I was going to use as a support place for people with mental health issues...now I'm about to walk away from the website all together. They need to either get with it or lose their writers!

Oh i am sorry that you are going through that. I would have to say that i would also be very mad if that happened to me. I was some where one time that did that. I never got approved or if i did it was after i left and never went back i am not sure what it was now though. I think that you can still do the same thing here if you would like to.

Bear in mind that she published her articles on a weekend. The site owners or admin probably work 5 days only.

Perhaps they do not work on weekends! If they work regular hours, they will approve your content on Monday at the earliest.

@Lolaze I just wonder how reliable the site is. I have not read about payment yet. Just hope that the site does not turn out to be a scam. I have read the FAQ, and they mention that getting visit to your article produces earnings too.

They did approve them eventually. I'm still giving it a shot to see how it all ends up.

When I first read about Literacy Base I paid the site a visit, but it just didn't feel like the right place for me. From what I've read so far, I'm glad I decided not to join. That said, I hope that your posts still get approved. It's horrible to put in time and effort and then find it's all for nothing.
