Last week Noah had a pretty big surgery. The rest of the week and all of this one will be filled with lots and lots of physical and occupational therapy to get him back to where he was, and hopefully beyond. We're still staying at the hospital for the next week. So we're getting a little stir crazy, but we have lots to do around here thankfully. Noah is getting close to where he was before as far as crawling and he's even a little better when it comes to sitting and balance already. Walking will come later. The goal is that with the removal of his tone he will be able to walk with a more stable pattern and get around easier. so far so good! I'll try and post more as the week goes on. But Noah is doing well and we're making our way down the long road now.

It is! He has always had trouble sitting and balancing, this was him as he sat there for about 20 minutes yesterday, his personal record.

@Jdaw1985 Sorry i didn't get back to this comment in time. Today however, he is doing great. Tomorrow we get to go home! But then starts a 3-4 day a week therapy program. So it's a long road ahead, but he should be much better off for it in the end.

He seems to be recovering fast. But the process of getting him back to walking and beyond is a long term thing. But he's moving along about as well as could be expected so far.

I have mild cerebral palsy. I had balance problems and speech problems (not saying my R's right) when I was little. I still have some balance problems. I had physical therapy and speech therapy when I was in school.

Thanking you for sharing that with us. Why did Noah have to have surgery in the first place? I am glad the surgery went well. How is he feeling?
