I call myself old. I think you have tons of energy. Of course I can see where she would be coming from, though, because with four kids you have lots of things that require your energy.

I never had any issues at being called anything..but my father does. When they treated me as older person, I always tried to get them to do somethings for me in consideration for my age..I have no issues at being treated as older person. lol

I guess I am old. The first time I knew it was when we were talking about Ann Margaret who played in Elvis movies. My kids asked, "Who's Ann Margaret?" Yep, ancient. Other proofs, how did I feel when they invented electricity, did I ever ride on a dinosaur, and did I ever get a letter by Pony Express?

Her intentions were good! All through my life I have kept moving the goalposts as to what age I consider old. I have to say that it's always well ahead of wherever I am, and that includes now. I'm 76, and I think perhaps 90 is old!

@jabouk I really think being old is a mind set not a number. There are 35 year old's who act "old" even though they are considered young by number. I am very young at heart and I think I will always feel younger than what I actually am. =) Plus I surround myself with little ones which helps too I am sure.

Once they get to your age, they'll realise it's not old at all

I remember when my cousin turned 17 and I thought 'wow that's so grown up and older!' But when I got to that age, I was shocked at how young it really is.

I guess it depend on the person(?) I'm 20 and I think people over 30 are quite old, but to my parents, 50 years old are considered young. Other than physical age, there are old spirited teenager and young spirited old folks like my aunt :)
