I would never get a little dog

I don't know how people would get them and enjoy them. They tend to need and want more attention, and not to mention they lift their legs on everything. Literally everytime I step it is in pee. I wipe it up then they pee someone else. I have the doggie door open. The one dog wants to go out front and they have no leashes or fence so I wont bring him out. I keep finding he keeps pooping on the floor.

Yes, the little ones are really hard to housetrain. The small breed boys are the worst at marking territory indoors. A nice mutt is the best dog ever!

@ricki_911 Dogs are a lot of work and take a lot of time. We rescued 3 toy poodles, one at a time, and the were boys. Housetraining those three never worked 100%. I had my own steam cleaner and used it every time I saw a damp spot. After those three, we went for big mutts!

My grandma had a little dog that just would NOT be potty trained. She ended up making him diapers to wear inside the house so he wouldn't mark everything.

I only have one thing to say about little dogs: Seal bait.

@ricki_911 Yeah little dogs I find to be more aggressive as well-especially with young children.

Becky won't allow me to keep a dog in the house because they scare her chickens. So, my grandson outsmarted her and gave me a pet turtle for Christmas. We call him "Fluffy". It takes all day to walk him.
