As a child I would often go with my friends to visit Donnington Castle. This famous landmark was about four miles walk from where we lived. We would pack a picnic and make a day of it. There was not much to do when we got there because the castle is all closed up to the public, but we still had an enjoyable day out.

I guess abandoned castles become dangerous but it's a shame you couldn't explore it.

It would have been fun to look inside.

When I was a child, I wanted to be a prince in a castle. Well, I just only see them in the movies. I hope I could travel around your country and visit the tourist attractions.
