Chicken broth and mushrooms

Can't forget the chopped onions. I'm making home made cream of mushroom soup. Half and half instead of cream.
Crazy weather. High of 80 today and maybe the mid 60s tomorrow. Could be where my middling headache and stuffiness is coming from.
Lots of wheel spinning. Not much engine revving. Doesn't mean that I won't get up and do something. Anything counts! Even staring at the kitchen counter is better than nothing, right?

It's a little cooler here today than it is there. We are supposed to have rain moving in tonight.

Woohoo! I get to actually see the inside of the apartment tomorrow. The landlord had the carpets cleaned at the beginning of this week, and he made enough of a hole in his busy schedule (a missing cook at the restaurant plus several properties to take care of) that we can meet. Gina says we will hardly know he's around unless we need something. Music to my ears!

It is only supposed to be about 60 here today, with rain tomorrow and Saturday. I must work a few hours today, so no time to stare at that counter for me.
