The transformer and the many voices…

Happy Friday evening, my dear friends, how are you all? Let me tell you how my day was… The three of us woke up at 6AM; I prepared breakfast, my sister fixed her things for her trip at 7:45PM, and my son let the dogs out for their morning ritual. Just as I was about to cook 3 sunny-side-up, I heard a very loud bang. Then all lights went off; there was an unexpected power interruption. I immediately called the electric cooperative and reported the matter. An hour passed no response yet, so my sister called up again using her low-tone voice. The responses were all the same--- they are coming to check on the transformer. I and my sister alternately called their office with different voices, high, low, manly, soft, loud, and all the voices that you might want to hear over the phone. If they know that only one person complains, they would put down the phone, which was why we did those things. Transformer was finally changed at 5:45PM; lights went on, and what we did was we recharged all our mobile phones. Then at 6PM, we all went to the bus terminal to see my sister off. I am tired and I am going to bed now, but please don’t worry because I will interact full time and actively tomorrow, and hopefully, our electricity will be alive tomorrow.

@fishtiger58 i feel weak now, my friend. my knees shake, and i have the feeling that i might fall down when i am walking. i need to just sit and put my feet up. maybe it is anxiety because i know the PTPA got lower again.

I'm sorry your transformer went out. That was irresponsible of them not answering the phone for you and taking so long to get it fixed. I'm glad your sister got off all right.

How annoying for you to be without power. That was a good ruse using all those voices, but it didn't get the electricity people to you very quickly.

yes it was, my friend. i had to cook rice in the stove, and we had to have lunch in a candle light. it was so hot inside. my son started the generator to have the fan on for lunch but because we charged our phones, the fan was no giving the wind we needed. yes, i and my sister took turns to call the cooperative, and i silently laughed at myself because i spoke with intonation of a native person in my place. i even talked gay.
