~It Has Been A Tough Day~

My husband's cousin took me to my son's appointment while my husband stayed home with the kids. My son is fine-tests came back totally normal-thank God. On the way to the appointment we were almost ran off the road by another vehicle while we were on the bridge. It was terrifying! Then we get there and they tell us they have no appointment in the system for him. We waited about 20 minutes and they finally said it's in the building across the street. We get there and the lady that took his weight and height had a bad attitude problem. Then I get back home and my oldest daughter is crying her eyes out because daddy was mean. He is extremely stressed because of the girl staying with us, lot's of work related stress, the landlord stopped by while I was gone, and nobody wanted to help clean the house! Now more than ever I am so looking forward to Bible study this evening!! I am very grateful though because I know plenty of people have things MUCH worse. And I know things will get better again soon, things will calm down. =) How has your day been so far?

I had a very trying day as well. My husband lost his job yesterday, and today I had to ask my employer if they would increase my hours at work. They agreed to do so, and then my supervisor asked me if I would consider going full time, and I had to tell her that I have no other choice. I am not the strong one in our relationship, so this was hard for me today, but it had to be done. My husband will be better off away from that workplace, as it was very harassing and dangerous. A door closes and a window opens, that is the case here, he's already waiting for word on another job.

@Juliaacv I am so sorry. =( Your day was much worse than mine and I knew someone did have a tougher day than me-which is why I said I was grateful things weren't worse. You will be in my prayers.

It might be better for your family's sake to let the niece go back with her own father.

@MGjhaud Yes me too, I am so grateful for the good news we got yesterday. =) She really doesn't do much of anything except stay in her room most of the day. She comes out to eat and use the bathroom-that's about it.

Take a breath. Breathe again. Remember that this too shall pass. You always post how good your Bible studies are. They give you a comforting place to go and relax. Stress kills. And, yes, others have it much worse. However, it is still stress and you need to find ways to put it aside.

@LovingMyBabies you go ahead and rant. I am happy for you that your son is okay too. I think I forgot to say that in my first response.

@Hatley Actually this time it was for my oldest son, Jackson but thank you! =) You definitely shouldn't feel guilty but I do understand because your not used to having money to just spend with. I know I would feel the same way.

Sorry you've had such a tough day, but the main thing is that your son is ok. I've been working in my garden all day, and now I'm tired but happy.

This time of the month is always hard here. Very little food and my grandson is so demanding. Hope things get better there soon and that you have a enjoyable Bible study this evening.

I'd say you and yours had a rough day of it. Glad the little guy is doing well. I had been having a good week, but whatever was keeping the students on their best behavior evaporated today.

I get the whole "daddy is mean" thing. My husband has been way too tough on the kids lately because he's stressed, but that, in turn, stresses me out. I'm really depressed today. My 18 year old is graduating next week, and had a breakdown last night and ended up in the hospital. I had no idea he was not eating and having such horrible anxiety.

@Cpefley Yeah mine has been tough on everyone too because he is stressed. I'm sorry your feeling depressed today. =( The 18 year old I have here breaks down about a fly on the wall, its really hard to handle. She cannot function at all!
